Catching up and "regularly" really need to meet!

Ok! So I am thinking that I am pretty much stinking at being a blogger... I hope that perhaps this summer I can do better?

Anyway... This will have to suffice for now! :)

Monday, I had to go to a PTO meeting (I am the staff/PTO liaison for our school)... When Rodney was putting the kids to bed, he put Robert to bed the last so he could read a Bible story. Rodney was reading the story of Jacob and Esau to Robert. I need to add now, as a side note, that this book was published probably in the 1960s or 1970s... Rodney got to the quote "Jacob went out and killed a couple of kids" and didn't think anything of it... I mean everyone knows that 'kids' are baby goats right?

...He said that Robert got real quiet and his eyes got really big... and his mouth dropped open... he responded with "Oh Daddy... that isn't ok!" At that point Rodney realized what had happened. He then explained to Robert that a 'kid' in this story meant a young goat. That seemed to make Robert feel better! :) Whew!

Oh the thought process of a 6 year old!
